Kids and students
Check-in is with the volunteers in the age-grouped rooms. Northside’s published kids pages don’t describe a numbered security-tag system, so this site doesn’t add one. Tell the volunteers what your child needs.
Nursery and toddler
The rooms are bright, and the volunteers are kind. They follow the special instructions you leave, and they will text you if your child is having a hard time settling.
Preschool
The preschool hallway is full of color, murals, and volunteers who love this age. The hope is a first look at who God is: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Elementary
Two high-energy worship rooms bring the Bible story to life, with small groups for activities, storytelling, and conversation.
Friends with special needs
Your child is paired with a buddy for the morning who stays with them through classroom and worship.
Northside Kids covers nursery through elementary. Students meet in the Student Center on Sunday and in Wednesday community groups, 6:30–8:00 PM.

These are approximate typical drives without live traffic, from each city’s general area to the church. Newport News and Hampton are large, so your time depends on where you start. They are a guide, not a promise from the church.
